Bytebit LTD ("Bytebit", "we", "us", or "our") operates Buzzberry, an 18+ interest-based social and creator platform. This policy explains how we process information when you use the Buzzberry mobile application, website, and related services (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

Account and authentication information. We process:

• Your Apple or Google account identifier and the name or email address that provider shares with us.
• Session, device-registration, push-notification, and account-security information.
• Your account creation, login, and last-activity timestamps.

Profile and discovery information. This can include:

• Name, date of birth, selected gender, interests, avatar, biography, and profile tags.
• Country or region inferred from your device settings.
• Location information only when you choose to grant location access for nearby discovery.
• Intro requests, accepted connections, friends, blocked accounts, and discovery preferences.

Content and communications. We process content needed to provide the Service, including:

• Messages, photos, videos, voice messages, stickers, gifts, and call-related metadata.
• Creator profiles, galleries, stories, posts, comments, reactions, subscriptions, and content requests.
• Support conversations and information you submit with a report or appeal.

Safety and moderation information. This includes reports, blocks, moderation decisions, automated safety signals, evidence needed to investigate abuse, and records used to prevent repeat violations.

Purchases and creator payments. We process store product and transaction identifiers, subscription status, virtual-currency balances and ledger entries, paid-content entitlements, and refund records. Creators who request payouts may also provide legal identity, age, address, tax, identity-document, selfie, and payout information required for verification and payment processing.

Technical and analytics information. This may include IP address, app version, platform, device locale, diagnostic logs, product interactions, and privacy-safe attribution information. Buzzberry configures its mobile attribution SDK not to collect the Apple or Android advertising identifier.

2. How We Use Information

• Authenticate accounts and keep sessions and devices secure.
• Recommend people and creators through shared interests and optional location signals.
• Open chats after mutual consent, operate 60-minute chat timers, and provide extensions, calls, gifts, and stickers.
• Host creator content, record purchases, maintain entitlements, and process creator payouts.
• Deliver notifications, provide support, and communicate service or safety updates.
• Detect, review, and respond to spam, fraud, illegal content, harassment, and other misuse.
• Measure reliability and product usage, troubleshoot errors, and improve the Service.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed for the following purposes:

• Other users: profile information and content you choose to publish or send are shown to the intended audience.
• Authentication and app platforms: Apple, Google, Firebase, the App Store, and Google Play support sign-in, notifications, distribution, and purchases.
• Infrastructure: Cloudflare provides hosting, database, object storage, image delivery, security, and edge services.
• Analytics and attribution: Firebase Analytics and AppsFlyer help us understand app use and install performance subject to the privacy settings described above.
• Verification and payouts: identity-verification, payment, banking, or compliance providers may process creator information when those features are used.
• Safety and legal reasons: we may disclose information when reasonably necessary to investigate harm, enforce our rules, protect rights and safety, or comply with law.
• Business changes: information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale, subject to applicable safeguards.

4. User-Generated Content and Moderation

Buzzberry is not an anonymous or random-chat service. Accounts have profiles, recommendations are based on interests, and a private chat opens only after the recipient accepts an intro request. We use reporting, blocking, content filtering, automated safety checks, and human administration to moderate user-generated content. Authorized moderators may review relevant content and account records when a report, safety signal, support request, or legal obligation requires it.

5. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, maintain purchases and creator accounting, secure accounts, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention varies by category. When an account is deleted, personal profile information and owned media are removed or de-identified through a durable deletion process. Messages or transactions that also form part of another user's records may remain in pseudonymized form. Limited payment, safety, fraud-prevention, refund, and audit records may be retained where required for legitimate safety, accounting, or legal purposes.

6. Account and Data Deletion

You can start deletion in Buzzberry under Profile → Settings → Delete Account. We may ask you to reauthenticate with Apple or Google before accepting the request. If you cannot access the app, follow our Account and Data Deletion instructions or email privacy@buzzberry.net.

7. Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards such as TLS in transit, access controls, short-lived access tokens, rotating sessions, rate limits, scoped media access, and audit trails. No service can guarantee absolute security. Buzzberry does not claim that all messages are end-to-end encrypted.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal information. You can edit many profile and privacy choices in the app, revoke device permissions in operating-system settings, cancel store subscriptions through Apple or Google, or contact us. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

9. International Processing

Buzzberry's providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for international transfers.

10. Adults Only

Buzzberry is intended only for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly allow minors to use the Service. Report a suspected underage account to support in the app or at privacy@buzzberry.net.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. We will post the revised version here and provide additional notice when required.
